The front desk and some sales associates are very cold, and say things that make it feel like it’s strange you’re there. There’s only one female sales associate on fourth floor that’s very welcoming. I’d avoid this location, or at least pick your sales associate wisely.

If the corporation sees this - please train your employees better, or hire better.

Beautiful tiles but the sales associate that was assigned to me was completely off putting. I was noticeably stressed picking out tiles and she did not do a good job listening to what I was interested in and just steered me towards the most expensive tiles. I expressed that I wasn’t sure I liked the warm undertones of the tile and she told me she disagreed and just left it at that. I asked her about color similar options and she told me to go look by myself and then said the one I was interested in looked “cheap, like a dirty floor”. I told her many times that the 63 x 126 slabs would not fit into our bathroom door frame and yet somehow they still ended up in my quote. Did not end up purchasing anything at the end.

We had a great experience with Porcelanosa. We started eyeing their products for our bathroom remodel as part of a condo renovation. Our project was delayed several times, but we ultimately worked with Andrea Lambert. In summary, she was wonderful! She made what can be a stressful experience, easier to manage. She was patient and really let me take my time as I made decisions tiles and fixtures for our bathroom. She also gave great guidance. As this was my first time doing a remodel, I really appreciated her insight. Andrea has continued to be a great resource even after our project completed. It’s been great to such a personalized experience. In the end, we have a beautiful bathroom, and we have Porcelanosa and Andrea to thank for that!

Beautiful products, excellent customer service and very competitive prices if you are open to different designs and mix and match. I've redone two bathrooms with them and I'm extremely happy with the results. I had a problem with some tiles but Emille was super helpful and shipped new ones from NJ within a few hours!

I wanted to share my wonderful experience working with Sasha Waters at Fireclay Tile.

As many know, renovating a bathroom and finding perfectly coordinated tiles can be a daunting process—especially in New York City. After visiting multiple tile stores without success, I decided to stop by Fireclay Tile, which came highly recommended by my designer.

Upon entering Fireclay with my bag full of renovation samples, I was warmly greeted by Sasha. I explained my dilemma: finding a coordinating floor tile to match my main bathroom tile. Sasha immediately offered her assistance. We spread out all my finishes on the workstation table, and within minutes, she presented several thoughtful and creative options.

I was genuinely impressed by Sasha’s keen eye for design and her ability to quickly understand the look I was going for—especially after visiting three other tile stores without success.

Although I ultimately chose a different tile due to lead time and pricing, I felt it was important to recognize Sasha for her exceptional creativity, professionalism, and design expertise.

We needed tiles for the backsplash of our kitchen and came across Fireclay on a whim. What great luck - working with them was so pleasant and easy and they make incredible tiles. Kira and Bena walked me through every part of the process, helped clarify design and construction terms that I simply was not familiar with, and were super responsive. If you want to make your home/space/whatever look cool and awesome, I highly suggest considering some tiles from Fireclay.

When we started our bathroom design projects, we had a rough vision of what we wanted to accomplish but definitely needed help filling in the gaps. We heard great things about Fireclay, and decided to check it out firsthand. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by the friendly staff and given the run down of their offering. We decided to work with Habiba and use their design services to help guide us through the process. Since we didn’t have a designer for our overall project, and were managing the process on our own, this was a HUGE help. Habiba was so helpful in pulling our vision together - offering creative advice to personalize our design and give it some spark, but also some practical advice too so we didn’t get too crazy. We absolutely loved the final designs. It was extremely helpful to sort through the renderings (with the actual fixtures we planned to use) and see if all come to life. The order and delivery process was extremely efficient, and frankly much more user friendly than our experience with other tile vendors over the years and construction material providers in general. We can’t wait to get everything installed and share final pictures. Our experience with Fireclay and Habiba has been a 10/10, and we’d strongly recommend to anyone in the NYc area looking for beautiful tile and a personalized customer service experience.

I have had the best experience with Fireclay. I live in NYC and went to their showroom in Manhattan to meet with a designer to help me with choices and renderings for two bathrooms we are renovating at our beach house. I had the great fortune to be assigned to Sasha Waters who was everything I hoped for and more: smart, intuitive, kind, competent, patient and funny. She got what I wanted immediately and perfected it, then diligently following up including in regular communication with the builder. I hope she is still around when we get to the kitchen next year and I highly recommend her and the shop which has a wide selection of beautiful tiles to match your taste. Ada helped me order 7000 historically accurate tiles for my bathroom floor and walls. They are beautiful. I thought they were a little pricey at the beginning of this project, however, I know better now! Very high quality tile. I had to pound on one with a hammer for quite a while before it broke. If you look at tiles from Lowe’s or Home Depot - they break. At Complete Tile, every mosaic sheet was spaced on the mesh perfectly. I created my own borders, duplicating a vintage tile pattern. The 1” porcelain hex tiles feel just like the old timey ones did. And Ada made the whole customer experience a delight. She made me feel (as a DIY first time tile installer) that she was rooting for me.

This review has been a long time coming. I used Galactic Tiles when I redid my bathroom 5 years ago and when I decided to renovate my kitchen, I knew I had to pay them a visit. They have quality materials, a wide selection, and an extremely knowledgeable staff. Yan and Rosario helped me and they both have impeccable taste and know how to put materials, textures, and colors together. With so many choices to choose from they help you narrow them down to achieve the aesthetic you are looking for. They also offer "one stop shopping." When I did my kitchen, I purchased the cabinets, the tile, the floor, the countertop, and the fixtures from them. This not only meant that I did not have to run around to different stores, it enabled me to see how everything worked together as a whole. I love my new kitchen and have Galactic Tiles to thank for it. Thank you for your patience, guidance, and professionalism.

There are no prices on anything so it is impossible to know what stone to focus on unless you have already done a significant amount of research on brands. When I asked about prices so I could focus on the stone I knew would be within my budget, she just told me that "the price depends on the project." I had already given her all my measurements and this left me thinking that the pricing was random and not uniform based on some whim. When she asked me my budget and I showed her the quote another showroom had given me she looked quite shocked and told me they would have nothing in that range. This despite them having some of the same brands the other place (Weismans) did. So clearly they are only interested in the high-end expensive jobs. FYI for anyone with a small job or on a budget.

We had a wonderful experience getting our countertops and tiles from Galactic! From our first visit to the showroom, Tommy was helpful in getting us multiple samples and Yan kept everything running smoothly for delivery and install. The quality of the countertop and tiles is fantastic and their prices are very reasonable. We are so happy with our decision to work with Galactic and would absolutely recommend them.

I had an amazing experience with Galactic Tiles for my two bathrooms. Firstly Yan was very patient and helpful throughout my entire bathroom project from choosing materials, delivery til the renovation is completely done, she was on top with everything. She always followed up with me and made sure things on line and on time.
Secondly, Galactic Tiles offer great quality tiles, everything came up beautifully and sturdy.
Last but not least, everyone at the store is very helpful and friendly. They work as a team and assist their customers in different areas to have a smooth process.

I turned to Galactic Tiles after a different tile company in Brooklyn literally lost the shipment I’d ordered and I was scrambling to find an alternative on a tight timeline. Rosario at Galactic Tiles was a godsend (give her a raise!) — she very quickly identified some alternative options that were similar to the product I was looking for, and when I found another one that fit, she sourced a sample for me within days and a full shipment within about a week. She was super communicative and realistic about timetables, and a huge lifesaver. I’m grateful for her professionalism and dedication, even though my project was a small one, and it turned out looking outstanding.

In May, my wife and I stopped by a few tile/bath shops in the Industry City area. We were getting ready to remodel our bathroom and were looking for ideas. The last place we visited was Galactic Tile. It should have been the first. Walking into the store, we were warmly greeted by Yan who was very helpful. We found her to be incredibly knowledgeable and she had great follow up. Even on her days off. We found a wide variety of tiles to choose from for both the floor and shower walls. We knew what style we wanted and found a light blue subway style made in glass which my wife fell in love with. We were able to walk around the store with the tile in hand to match it with the new floor and vanity top. We found a wood grained style ceramic tile.

Next up was the vessel sink. Yan showed us sinks from various vendors but not exactly the style/size we wanted. I found on line what I wanted and she delivered it for us! For less. Same for the Kohler Faucet and Grohe shower system. While we picked up the sink, faucet and shower system, they delivered the tiles along with the special cement/grout needed for the glass tile and floor. Their warehouse is a few blocks away. The tile was delivered in a timely manner and upon inspection, 3 boxes were the wrong color. Yan was quick to order the replacement and thankfully it came in time.

Overall, we were pleased with the service Yan provided us. While I did not check the prices with a magnifying glass, I know they were in line with what I was able to see online. The service made up for the potential cost savings and it was one stop shopping. Can’t beat that! We did need to return some tiles and they accepted it along with a return fee. Not a problem.

We would highly recommend them for your bathroom remodel needs.

Galactic Tiles provided me with the wall tiles and grout for my bathroom renovation and I couldn't have been more pleased. Rosario was very helpful in every step of the process, sending me photos of different grout options and clearly explaining the different options (sizes, matte vs. glossy). When I needed a threshold tile for the project, she immediately sent me the photo of an option that complemented the walls. The warehouse is just around the corner and scheduling the delivery was efficient and reasonably priced. Though "big box" stores may have deeper selections, the professionalism, friendliness, and quality of products at Galactic Tiles will keep me going back for any future projects.

Peter offered me amazing guidance about tile selection for our kitchen backsplash.

Before I found Timeless Tile, tile shopping felt overwhelming.
Choices, choices, choices! (And my wife and I could not agree on anything).

At Timeless, five minutes after I'd shown Peter photos of our kitchen wall and counter, I had what I needed. He suggested several options, any of which I could have gone with, but then he looked at the pix again and recommended the beautiful tiles we have on our wall now ( see below ).

Peter has a wonderful eye for design and color. At other stores, I was talking to salesmen, but he's more like an interior decorator.

Now that the project is finished, my wife says she feels joy whenever she looks at the tiles. It doesn't get any better than that!

Also -- great customer service in terms of delivery -- Timeless got our order to us on their own -- no worrying its getting lost by UPS or Fedex.

Peter and the Timeless Tile NYC team are a DREAM to work with! I stumbled into the showroom while waiting for an appointment and originally planned to just window shop for my kitchen and bathroom renovation.
However, after a short conversation with Peter, I realized that this was my guy! I went to Mondial Tile with a vision that I wanted my small beach house to look like an Italian Villa! They pulled it off! They helped me with tile selection, countertop and backsplash. Even though I mostly worked with one of the designers, there was collaboration and discussion with the fabrication team and installers. They were professional yet very down to earth. The reward is the “wow” factor every time someone walks through the door, including ME!!!

Had an issue with a bad contractor who did a bathroom shower floor tiles, that started leaking in the living room a few months later and I went to Daniela at Mondial tile she was exceptional in finding the matching replacements and was so knowledgeable and professional.

I am so grateful to the amazing team at Mondial! I love my new kitchen and tiny bathroom! The tiles are simply beautiful and complete each space perfectly. I especially love the floor and wall combination in my tiny bathroom, which makes the space feel bright, serene, and classic instead of dark and claustrophobic. Everyone keeps commenting on it.

Initially, I went to several big box stores in search of floor and wall tile, and I felt overwhelmed and lost. I looked up local tile stores with good reviews and found Mondial. I knew immediately that I was in the right place. Rosana and Daniela are wonderful. They are extremely knowledgeable, patient, and friendly and really “got” my style. They helped me find options that spoke to me and encouraged me to take samples home to see how they looked in my space. Once I made my final picks, they helped me choose grout color (who knew grout came in so many colors and shades). I also purchased custom-cut saddles for several doorways. They helped me choose a complementary stone, and the workmanship is excellent. Overall, my entire experience was excellent from start to finish. I love shopping local where I can get personalized service from real human beings who know their stuff. I will definitely be going back for future projects.

Daniella was amazing to work with! I was so indecisive about picking the perfect tile, but she was incredibly patient and never made me feel rushed or pressured. An incredible experience! Rosanna was extremely helpful and catered to the design I was envisioning. She provided great insight as to what styles are popular now, color recommendations, and design considerations. The whole team was accommodating and had continuous communication about my order. Highly recommend if you need tiles for renovation. Very reliable business and huge selection of tiles.
We came into the store sooo many times with so many questions and Maria was very patient and helpful with us. She spend so much time helping us with matching our tiles.
Another reason I gave them 5 stars is because we encountered problems with the tiles after its delivered. We called them up and send them pictures and without a doubt they called the manufacturer and talk to them and they quickly come back with solution and replace the tiles for us. We have so much going on with the renovation and the last thing we need is waste time going back and forth. Definitely recommend this place if anyone doing renovation!

Denis is a very very good salesman. I will be a repeat customer at this business. The store might look like it's about past it's prime but don't let it fool you.
My wife and I have been looking for a good tile store in both NY and NJ. We are refinishing our Bathroom. Porcelanosa stores were a rather sterile experience. Designs were nice but it was very hard to finalize a compete design of our bathroom. Some Brooklyn tile stores lacked customer service and dedication.
We met Denis and everything fell in place. Got our design down in under an hour. He worked harder than anyone and gave us our space.
As a business owner I always respect a salesman that is not jaded by his job in a place like Brooklyn. Good job!

I am designing a new construction home. I sent Joe pictures of my inspiration and ideas for all 3 bathrooms. He sent me pictures back with tiles he had in stock that fit my looks. He completely nailed it!
Same day he wrote up an estimate, and scheduled delivery for the very next day!! (we are on Long Island) Joe was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish.

The delivery was smooth and professional. The team unloaded everything carefully and took the time to count and verify every item against the receipt to make sure nothing was missing.

I had the most wonderful experience working with John at Classic Tile. My contractor sent me to big box stores, and that was absolutely not where I wanted to shop because I appreciate local expertise and service. I was referred to classic tile and it was the best choice of my renovation. Great Showroom, but the older lookin lady behind the desk- thumbs down. First thing she said - after i said were here to look at some tiles, she says we dont have fries here.. I guess fat shaming me. But ok, i let it slide, when i told her were pricing around, this turned her off you can tell. Anyway she began to show us some tiles, all good. Once i asked her for the price she said I can look it up for you. We waited a good 5 minutes. No price. She went to her desk and began to eat. We approached her and she said nothing, we saw she wasnt interested. We said thank you for your time, have a good day. Nothing no comment thank you back. All good from us, but will never ever go back. Little does she know were doing full bathroom and kitchen reno. Her loss.

We had a great experience with the Tile Depot. The showroom is beautiful and so is their selection. Yet the prices are reasonable and comparable to big popular stores, if not even cheaper. The staff is client-oriented, nice and also insightful by providing ideas or solutions we hadn't considered.

Although their designs are nice, the handles for their faucet do not hold in place. I had 2 plumbers take a look. Both of them couldn't do it. I believe it's a design flaw. Rather than design, the item must first be functional. I can't have a plumber living with me full time to tighten the faucets.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. For such expensive fixtures I’d expect better service. I have all kitchen and bathroom fixtures from waterworks. They came with the apartment.

1) The bathroom shower knob screw plug falls off and stopper is difficult to use I.e sometimes it doesn’t plug and after adjusting sometimes won’t come back up

2) sink faucet started to leak. Ordered a new cartridge and it was under 3 year warranty. 2 years in it starts leaking again, I call them and they say they stopped making the faucet so no longer under warranty so they’ll give me the webisite that carries the part and they say it’s cheaper than what they sold it to me.

Poor/faulty workmanship. No matter how pretty, I’d rather pay for quality.

Do NOT Order from Stone Source – Customer Service Unacceptable
I am extremely frustrated with the logistics and customer service at Stone Source. My order, split into two parts (one domestic and one from Italy), has experienced delays, broken promises, and severe communication issues.

Despite repeated assurances, the tiles for the first part of my order did not arrive as promised, and no one informed me or my contractor about the delay. I had to reach out to the carrier myself, only to learn they required an appointment—unnecessary for our doorman building. This miscommunication is unacceptable, and it should not fall on me to manage delivery logistics.

As someone with a background in logistics, I am shocked by the lack of professionalism and process here. My 91-year-old mother’s apartment renovation is now halted, causing significant inconvenience. Service at Stone Source has declined sharply under the new ownership, and my attempts to contact the CEO and Logistics Director have gone unanswered.

Additionally, I was not informed of faster shipping options for the second part of my order from Italy. I later learned that air shipping was available, but I was not offered this choice initially.
I demand immediate action to provide clarity on delivery timelines and to explore expedited options for the remainder of my order. This experience has been deeply disappointing, and I expect Stone Source to address these issues promptly.

Very much recommend. I ordered tiles for the master and guest bathroom (both bathrooms are very modest, promise, but yes the tiles are expensive and I wanted this splurge - as they should be and you get the price in advance).
Youssef has been 100% responsive and helpful. He advised me on the degree of maintenance different tile types require. Sketches were accurate, as was the pricing.
Manufacturing and shipping speed was on point (maybe like 2 weeks beyond the initial estimate - but given that Morocco had devastating earthquake?) -- the shipment was very carefully packed. Not a single box was damaged. They added "extras" for breakage but not a ton.

I will update this review if the tiles do not hold up after use. But in terms of transactions, this has been a five-star experience

We ordered a tile backsplash from Mosaic House for our kitchen, and they ended up sending the wrong size border. An honest mistake in and of itself I was not upset about, but when we asked them to reimburse us for paying our tile installer who made the trip out just to find un-installable tiles, they refused and said it was not their responsibility. Apparently it was OUR responsibility to pre-assemble the tiles (not a quick job) and measure every piece to double check their work before we called the installer. Ridiculous. How about THEY double check their work before shipping the product to us?!?! So we were left with paying an extra $125 on top of the already very high price to our tile installer, which he was rightly owed, because of their mistake. I do not consider myself to be a fussy customer but it seems like a no-brainer to me that rule #1 of customer service is that when a business makes a mistake they should cover all extra costs associated with that mistake.

They sent another package with the correct size border and our installer was able to work with them, but it was still far from a straightforward job as the tiles had to be trimmed considerably in order to fit within the border, and the whole mosaic still wasn't the exact size we'd asked for so we had to do some re-measuring. This took our installer a fair amount of extra time.

All this being said, I have to say that the tiles themselves are gorgeous. I just wish that their customer service was on par with the beauty of their product. By refusing to pay for the extra fee from our tile installer, they effectively soured a customer's experience, secured a negative review here and any other place we can find online to review them, and prevented us from recommending them to anyone who visits our house and asks about our tiles. I do hope that saving the $125 is worth all of that for them.

Worst experience working with this company. Had to send emails multiple times to get any answers. Before we placed our order the staff was helpful but once our order was placed there was zero communication. Our order had an 8-12 week lead time and didn't even ship out until over 14 weeks later (which by that time the entire project was finished except for this tile). The product looked nothing like the pictures online and came in chunky diamond shaped pieces that barely fit together. The grout in between the tiles was cracking and split. When I asked the company what to do they were completely rude and said I was stuck with the product and that there was nothing they could do. So disappointing.

They never pick up the phone. They have no answering machine. I've gone in and no one talked to me after being there for a half hour.

A friend tried shopping there, talked with a salesperson and tried to find something they had in stock. They constantly messed up what they had in stock, gave conflicting answers, lost notes. It was pathetic. She eventually just left because the experience from the staff was abysmal.

Although we ultimately selected our bathroom tiles from Ann Sacks, the overall experience was forgettable one of the least impressive in our tile shopping journey. The showroom is beautiful and the product selection is undeniably high quality, but the service fell far short of expectations.

We encountered a lack of attentiveness and care — especially surprising given the premium nature of the brand. Our show room appointment started 28 minutes late without apology or acknowledgment. For a design-forward company, we expected a more elevated and supportive experience, especially during such a detail-oriented process.

In the end, we’re happy with the tiles we chose. With some improvement in client care and communication, this showroom could truly match the quality of the materials it sells.

This company does not have quality control and sent me tile that was clearly defective. Some pieces were fine, the rest are defective. This is only noticeable after install as some pieces were acceptable. A rep from the company told me “your tiles are wet, you need to allow them to dry” (even though they weren’t wet). The rep then attempted to tell me my installer installed the tile incorrectly (he installed it correctly). Finally after showing them a video of spare tiles that were defective (meaning dry and the installer hadn’t installed them) they finally admitting the product was defective and their solution was that I have to pay to have all the tile and drywall removed myself. To say this company is grossly incompetent in resolution and quality product is an understatement. They did everything to try to blame me for their defective product and have done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to resolve. Don’t waste your time with this company. (The grey terrazzo is the defective tile)

An sacks sold us tile that was vastly different than the samples we saw and in two distinct batches one with a dark rough finish and one that was clean. We attempted to negotiate a return to purchase other tiles that were finished wewith some level of consistency and they offered to sell us new tiles at a premium and not offer us any trade in value for clearly deficient tile. Customer service was extremely unhelpful and non commercial even after buying tens of thousands of dollars of tile.

I wanted to share my wonderful experience working with Daltile and the immensely talented design professional, Catlin.

As many know, renovating a bathroom and finding perfectly coordinated tiles can be a daunting process—especially in New York City. After visiting multiple tile stores without success, I decided to stop by Daltile in hopes of finding a floor tile that would seamlessly complement the main tile I had already purchased.

Upon entering Daltile, with my bag full of finishes from my renovation project, I was warmly greeted by Catlin. I explained my dilemma—struggling to find a coordinating floor tile to match my main bathroom tile. Catlin immediately offered her assistance. We laid out all my finishes on the workstation table, and within minutes, she presented several thoughtful and creative options.

I renovated the bathroom in my Upper West Side Co-Op apartment and (after visiting three or four tile showrooms) ended up using Daltile.

It was a good experience throughout and the floor manager who helped me (Nneka) was fantastic. She listened to what I was interested in -- and what my tastes were (traditional!) -- and used that information to come up with a great set of suggestions (for wall tiles, floor, shower floor, bullnose). I visited the storeroom three or four times over the course of a month to finalize decisions and Nneka was patient with my need to re-consider and re-discuss things.

I also appreciated Nneka's being willing (when I asked) to offer an opinion on things that were outside of her formal purview (like wall paint colors). She has a great eye and it was reassuring to have her as a sort of "uber advisor" on the design aspects of my project.

Hi, can I get a response… my contractor installed the hexagon terracotta tiles and painters taped them to walk on them. The tape was removed and apparently it removed the finish, we can see a line down the room where the tape was. Is there a recommendation to repair this? I had a great experience with this tile company. I just finished a bathroom project using the tiles I purchased from them, and the quality is excellent. My client and I stopped by the showroom, and Seda was amazing, she patiently showed us all the options, offered valuable guidance, and helped us choose the perfect tiles. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and made the entire selection process smooth and stress-free.

I ordered the Ming Green Marble tiles from Country Floors, which were labeled as having slight variation (V2) on the website. However, the tiles I received had extreme color differences- far beyond what would be considered “slight.” The variation made the tiles completely unusable for my project. Unfortunately, customer service was unhelpful and unwilling to offer any resolution. Disappointed with both the product and the support.

Response to Country Floor's Reply:

After receiving the first batch of tiles, Country Floors acknowledged that the variation exceeded the typical range and offered to replace only a portion of them. Unfortunately, this wasn’t sufficient to resolve the issue. To try and make the project work, we purchased an additional batch of tiles ourselves, but this second shipment had even more extreme variation (shown in the second photo) and was unusable.

The complimentary replacement tiles that were promised were not part of that second shipment. Instead, they arrived after 20 days, without notice, and well after our project timeline. At that point, they were useless.

Ultimately, we had to turn to another vendor as the second batch was not a viable solution. The lack of consistent quality and communication made it impossible to proceed with Country Floors.

I'm a designer that has spec'd Akdo tiles for my clients for the past 10 years. Unfortunately, that has come to an end with 1 bad customer experience. They sold our clients faulty tiles (Next Diagonal Thassos/Terrazo/Steel) supposedly permanently yellowed by the glue even though the discoloration was uniform. Our rep, Kevin Foster, apologized and told us he would make it good by replacing the tile with another product as the original selection had a bad lot and would be some time before they got re-stocked. He went as far as to tell us that they would pay the difference even if the reselect cost more because they wanted to make this right. After my clients went to a showroom and reselected, we heard absolutely nothing from Akdo. I went to the local tile distributor who went to Kevin, then the step above Kevin and then finally the owner. It taken an entire month to find out they're not going to stand behind what we were told, and help us in no way with this resolution.

10 year relationship ruined not just for me and my firm, the tile distributor involved, but also the home builder. Clients understandably angry. Overall one of the worst customer experiences I've had in this industry. Truly a disappointment that they left us high and dry without a resolution.

Skillender at Cancos to renovate, three bathrooms, partially renovate two other bathrooms and partially renovate our kitchen.
She was absolutely brilliant to work with. She was extremely patient and kind. She listened to our ideas and what we were looking for and then she recommended wonderful colors and tiles and ideas for the rooms we were working on. She is very creative and has a very good sense of design. Not only is she a sales woman, but she is a decorator as well. We were so impressed with her. We truly loved working with Kelly! We were so excited to see the rooms come together as the work progressed. All of the renovations came out perfectly thanks to Kelly’s expertise and recommendations! I would truly recommend working with Kelly at Cancos if you are in need of renovations in your home for bathroom or kitchens. Thank you so much, Kelly! You are the best!

Went to CANCOS Tile in the Flatiron district to select floor tile for a renovation project. We were fortunate to work with Kelly who provided her impressive knowledge about large format tiles, textures, and colors. Thank you for providing samples, pricing and guidance for our floor and wall choices.

We received tile without any issues and our installer is laying tile this week. Thanks Kelly for making the process simple and smooth!

I worked with Curtis Harmon at Cancos for my home renovation (kitchen + bathroom tiles), and he was honestly the best part of the whole project. From day one, he understood exactly what I was going for and helped me see the full picture—design, material pros/cons, timelines, everything. He wasn’t just selling me tiles, he was designing a vision with me.

What impressed me most is how rare it is to find someone in this industry who is both a true designer and a true salesman. Curtis has the eye for detail and creativity of a designer, but also the efficiency, follow-through, and problem-solving skills of a top sales pro. He sourced everything on time, anticipated issues before they became problems, and even months later helped me match Calacatta marble for a fireplace hearth and dry bar project perfectly.

Cancos Tile, and their sales rep, Curtis, were great partners in my recent bathroom renovation. Curtis was very patient and knowledgeable in showing us all of the porcelain tile options and talking through details. We had wanted to use book-matched slabs but decided against it for practical reasons. Instead, we created a similar look with more manageable tiles - and 2 caveats: the Italian tiles are metric, and not a “true” 12 x 24, and in order to have the ability to “match” veins on adjoining tiles, we ordered a few extra boxes of the tiles. We are really pleased with the result - and so grateful to Cancos and Curtis for the prompt, professional help.
An added benefit was discovering the great Madeli sink and mirror cabinets - so elegantly designed and of such high quality!
I happily recommend Cancos!

Dealt with a bunch of tile companies during my renovation. Some are larger and more well known. That said, the service from Cancos was the absolute best. The most reasonable lead times and never a problem with stock. Curtis, their sales consultant, has been fantastic to deal with in every respect, including TWO last minute low volume orders. Can’t say enough good things.

Shopping for bathroom tiles is definitely a daunting task for anyone who is not an interior designer.

Our sales associate Dan was most helpful, walking us through what we need to think about and making sketches to help us visualize the various combinations and options for the wall, shower and floor tiles, pulling up samples of the tiles we liked so that we could have an up close look and feel.

We left feeling good about our choices with samples to take home to review.

Nemo Tiles is definitely a top notch operation. Plan to spend time there to figure out the possibilities that will appeal to you.

Just called the store and asked if they could tell me if an item was in stock. Employee says, “depends on what item it is” with the nastiest of attitudes. I decide that I will clarify in case she didn’t understand the question. I stated, “wanted to know if you could tell if an item was in stock or if there was another way for me to check.” She again says “depends on what item it is” with an even nastier attitude. I decide to hang up at this point. It is one thing to be stupid and not understand the question but it’s a whole other thing to be nasty. Avoid calling this store…unless you enjoy talking to nasty people.

The tile selection and customer service is amazing. They have a wide variety of product and the ordering process is seamless. I had a small issue with delivery, nothing to do with them it was the transport company , and their customer service at Nemo immediately responded and took care of everything. I highly recommend this company!!! Thank you to Michelle Cuttino for being an amazing customer support person. She went above and beyond to assist me and that is rare these days.

I am not in the state of New York so everything was done over the phone and email. Everything went smooth. Sample was received on time and so was shipment once the order was made. But here is the tile that was installed. I understand it can be slightly off but this is a pretty noticeable and looks very different. You are only given 24 hours after delivery to inspect your tile or forget it. Nothing. My tile was Installed about a month after delivery because it was a new home being built. I was not dealing with a contractor so I waited until installation day to open.

I just had an amazing experience at Nemo. Yssa spent the time necessary for me to work through all the problems that come with mixing and matching tiles with other architectural elements. She knows the products, their applications and uses her artist eye to help with color. I can't wait to see the final product!

Believe every negative review you see. My biggest mistake was ordering anything from them. My order is missing and my money is gone. I’m almost certain I’ve been robbed, or at the very least it feels that way. Order from literally anyone else but Tilebar. If you’re this awful as a company, why are you even operating?!? The world sucks enough without being scammed by some low budget tile company. Zero communication amongst their team, misleading information on their website, they’re absolute crooks.

Terrible experience when it came to delivery and the staff did not even acknowledge the mistake. I order a lot of tiles from this place at once and the staff made simple mistakes and then played the finger pointing game. Stay away and plus you can get the same exact tiles else where if you look around. STAY AWAY

Sure the tile selections are great and the ones that arrive intact are beautiful, but be aware of the return policy which has restocking fee, plus the closest warehouse is a M-F return only in Burlington NJ. These videos capture the unboxing process after my contractor notice 1. poor packaging (as if they were taped not even from end to end) 2. there's a clear split from the base of the Nero Marquina tile & it just got worse where there's cement/gunk on the tile which TB reps claim "could be cleaned up" (?!!!)/. For high end tiles this should NOT be the case & the whole return experience just left a bad taste in my mouth. TB did in the end waive the 15% restocking fee, which is good of them, but I had to hire my transport so that was $300 out of pocket lost. The laticrete grout is great but also note that there's a 50% markup if you get it through TB (Floor & Decor has the same 8 lb bag for $20). I took the rest of my home renovation shopping to HomeDepot instead & was able to get Daltile/Marazzi designer tiles at much lower prices. Wd do the same for my future home improvement projs as well. Lesson learned.

Fast shipping, great selection of different tiles but had numerous broken pieces and since this wasn't a typical shaped tile, the pattern on the floor is off because it required me to order 4 more sheets and custom cut different shaped tiles to fit in the damaged spaces, which increased my work time by a few hours. Since this was used in my personal home it isn't a huge deal but Tilebars damage policy is a bit whack and there was no reimbursement for the 7 broken pieces. They did contact me about this, however they never made it right.

The tile looks beautiful, which is a reflection of my work, not Tilebars. The standard style tiles are very reasonably priced and they do have great sample pricing but I'll probably gets samples from them and purchase it locally for future projects, just in case I have damaged tiles, I can actually get it resolved.

TileBar's variety and inexpensive sample option allowed me to order as many tile samples as I wanted until I found the perfect one! They all came thickly wrapped and in one piece. My long awaited kitchen remodel is done, and the tile is absolutely perfect thanks to this great company! I will use them again soon for the bathrooms.

Update: I, of course, used Tilebar again to order my bathroom tile! Our tile will be installed the week after Thanksgiving in our main bath, but wanted to share pics ahead of that of the beautiful terrazo flooring and shower/wall tile that arrived in perfect condition. I am soooo excited!! More finished pics to come soon!

So pleased with my tile selection (and my installer could not stop talking about the quality of it) for my backsplash! I went with a large glazed subway tile for ease of cleaning. Also went with the light neutral color since I have dark cabinets and counters. Thrilled with the dark edging of this tile and it looks great with parchment colored grout. Simply Beautiful!

Quick delivery and each box was nicely packed. I talked to customer service before ordering and the representative was able to answer all my questions and assure me the product was in stock and I would be shipped quickly. I love the marble tile and I think it looks classic, it won't go out of style very soon. Reasonably priced compared to our local tile store. The manager said she couldn't offer any marble tile close to the price through TileBar.

I caution consumers to measure, and measure twice. Make sure the square footage is correct and they do not oversell you any merchandise.
Company supplied us with an exasperating excess of tiles for multiple spaces of our project and would not take any of the excess inventory back.
And I'm not talking an extra box or 2 of tiles. Multiple excess boxes of tiles.
I guess this is a way for the sales person to make more money.
Unfortunate for them, since they lost customers.

Do not go here if you are looking to browse as a homeowner without an interior designer. The receptionist was extremely friendly, however, when I was met with the manager of the store, it seemed as though he did not have the time of day for someone to explore samples. He was extremely rude and had a look of disgust when I had asked if there was tile in a specific price range. I simply wanted to browse as I am in the initial stages of a home Reno. If they do not want people without an interior designer, they should have TRADE ACCOUNTS ONLY on their front door.

Despite the rude manager, they have some beautiful tile. The samples they have in the store are extremely small though.

This was our first time using Artistic tile. I was very excited to use the hombre tile and unfortunately we received tile that did not match. They clearly did not check the dye lot before sending and were not willing to fix it. Very disappointing. I would have thought a company like this would fix their mistake because this tile is 120 dollars per square foot. A lot to spend for a defective product.

Stunning collection of tiles , stone and especially mosaics. Amazing company that makes many of their products right here in New Jersey-worth a visit. Some things can get very pricey but they also have reasonable porcelain options and bigger friendly materials available. Super friendly sales staff. Have used on many projects at my design business FODesign and clients are always very happy.
